We offer well-made clothing, shoes, bags, backpacks, socks, sandals, hats and scarves from selected brands with a sustainable background.

Everything from format is sewn locally in the workshop behind the shop from fairly and organically sourced fabrics and some other things travel halfway around the world to be sold in our shop and thus secure the livelihood of knitters in Peru, for example. Everything on offer was created under demonstrably fair working conditions, and much of it is made from organically certified or recycled raw materials.

Since 2011, WESEN was originally the front room in front of format's workshop with a shop window facing Neukölln's Weserstrasse. Over the years, in addition to format, more and more products from other brands with similar principles came into this space, which gradually became a real store. In 2017 we moved around the corner to Tellstrasse and continue to sell selected, long-lasting and well-made things with a sustainable background.

The second WESEN will open regularly in November 2023. Shop at the front, workshop at the back. Similar to Tellstr. 7 only in Karl-Kunger-Str. 19 and a bit bigger.

Here you can find us: parallel to Pannierstrasse around the corner from Weserstrasse. It's best to come by public transport, on foot or by bike, as parking spaces are scarce in the area.
