The lightweight cork bags are made from sustainable cork from Portugal and are also waterproof. The cork used consists of cork sheets with textile reinforcement.

All products are made from sustainable cork in Portugal under fair conditions. Cork forests are a natural ecosystem and serve as a habitat and refuge for many animal species. Portugal is the largest producer of cork products with a 54% share and offers a wide range of jobs for the population through this natural product.

Short production routes, long lifespan: The cork oak has a variety of properties that provide this special raw material for the cork bags. During the entire lifespan of the tree, around 100-200 kg of cork can be obtained, as the bark can be harvested without the tree dying. This is probably the only tree in the world whose bark grows back after 9-11 years.
Vegan

Cork is a natural material obtained from the bark of the cork oak tree, which is mainly found in Mediterranean and Iberian areas. Therefore, no additional resources are needed to grow cork.
Cork can be harvested by hand every six to nine years and retains the unique structure of the bark. By harvesting the bark, the oak can absorb around 30% more carbon and at the same time release more oxygen.
