Maritza super fluffy alpaca sweater

This luxurious hand-knitted sweater by INTI features a large knitted pattern in pink and light gray. It is made from baby alpaca wool (from the first shearing of an adult alpaca). Each piece is a unique hand-knitted item, so the pattern may vary slightly from the illustration.

Alpaca wool is naturally light, water-repellent, and thermoregulating. It contains no lanolin and is therefore hypoallergenic; the fibers are so fine that the wool doesn't itch.
Material: 85% Alpaca, 9% Polyacrylic, and 6% Polyamide

Alpaca wool is a very sustainable and durable material. With proper care, wool products can last for many years.

Washing instructions – how to care for a precious garment from INTI: Wool is self-cleaning: hang it to air out after wearing. Machine wash at room temperature (0-20 degrees) on a wool cycle with a wool spin program. Hand washing is also an option, but why hand wash when the machine achieves the same good result? Use sufficient water. Do not rub when wet or tumble dry, as this can lead to felting. Do not bleach. Use a pH-neutral detergent, preferably wool detergent. Wash different colors separately. Important: the rinse water should be the same temperature as the wash water. Never hang or lay flat when soaked; carefully squeeze and wring.
Pilling (formation of small balls) on wool is completely normal. To remove pilling and keep the item looking fresh and new, we recommend using a wool comb or a sweater stone, without chemicals or batteries.
